Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik is a pioneer institute affiliated to University of Pune and is one of the top ranked institutes in Maharashtra enjoying the pinnacle position in the wine capital of India,Nashik. Named after the illustrious social worker, recipient of Padmashree award, Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh the institute was established in the year 1983.It offers eight engineering faculties for undergraduate levels and four disciples offer graduate level degrees. Its an ace institute producing regular university toppers and is apple of the eye for genuine merit. The institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Government of Maharashtra has adjudged the Institute with 'A' Grade. Embellished with soothing, scenic and lush green huge campus of 10 hectares, the institute is situated on Mumbai Agra National Highway at Hirabai Haridas Vidyanagari near Panchvati. About Electronics and Telecommunication department :The department was established in the year 1983. It is one of the oldest department of the Institute.The department runs a students' club "Students Association of Electronics Engineering" (SAEE). The club is on its full fledge run since the year 1992 and arranges for various activities such as seminars,expert lectures, quiz, personality development workshops, technical workshops and debate competitions for upgrading students with the latest and current trends. Its the heritage of the department to produce regular university toppers and thus is the crème de la crème of most of the ingenious students.
